Re-Imagining Wood 3D Printing - Engineering an alternative concrete.
As a Lead Design Engineer and founding member at Tree-D, I have been at the forefront of developing innovative wood-based 3D printing technology tailored for the construction industry. I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, including Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, and Mechanical Engineers, Architects, and Industrial Designers. This cross-functional approach has enabled us to push the boundaries of what is possible in sustainable construction.
In my role, I have conducted an extensive material analysis to optimize our products' printability and strength ratios, ensuring they meet high-performance standards. Additionally, I have led the strategic roadmap for product development, partnering with team leads to drive the vision for future applications, market potential, and environmental sustainability. Our work at Tree-D aims to revolutionize the construction industry by providing cost-effective, efficient, and eco-friendly building solutions.
