BULAJ - Why Sleep Quantitatively
Collaboration with Asia Pomorska, Joost de Vries, Jasper Scheffer, and Gamze Kazaz
Why not wake up with to your preferred level of daylight?
BULAJ is an exploration of what it takes to make an aesthetic interaction. Taking aesthetics outside the context of just appearance, guided by the theme of timekeeping, let me create a beautiful ‘thing’.
This ‘thing’ lets you envision a world not bound by numeric timekeeping—a natural wake-up experience. I applied theoretical frameworks from human-computer interaction research to develop a novel interactive product.
